THE ULTIMATE SECURITY SHUTTER-GRILLE
Tap Blind is an exclusive locking system working
as a grille as well as a shutter, and can be
perfectly suitable for any security,
aesthetic and comfort requirement.
This product is a patented security system
equipped with: an automatic steel anti-lifting
locking system as well as an external and
internal key lock; extruded aluminum
profiles (16x55mm) linked together by steel
rods complete with wheels made of
sliding material.
Tap Blind can be delivered
in any color from the RAL chart or the Croci
ranges, and can perfectly fit either new
or already existing building contexts.
In order to offer the maximum comfort, this
system is motorized (with temporary switch),
with the additional choice of security operations.
The gaskets between the slats help to reduce the
noises during the opening and closing operations,
thus guaranteeing the best quietness achievable.
The 2011 Tap Blind version
offers the possibility of choosing
between the traditional system model
(cod. TAPBLIND11/TRAD)
and the insulated aluminum shutter-box
equipped one (cod. TAPBLIND11/CASS).

Tap Blind 2011 is an extruded aluminum security shutter with electrical activation. It is available with the aluminum shutter-box or with the traditional system. The shutter is provided with an internal and external key lock and with an anti-lifting locking system with steel chains that improve its breaking strength. Tap Blind is a shutter, a blind and a grille in a single product.

This shutter-box is made of roller formed powder coated
aluminum and of two painted galvanized-iron side frames
that work as a support for the lifting/rolling system.
In its interior, the shutter-box is insulated with a
polyethylene bush, between 5 and 10 mm thick, that
improves thermal and sound insulation. The shutter-box
is available in two different sizes: a smaller one to be
attached to windows and a larger one for French windows.

Perfectly suitable for renovations, because it offers a
greater versatility in terms of installation (it is necessary to foresee the presence of a shutter-box, either for installation in the wall or externally because the traditional system does not provide it).

*Overall with a width (W) greater than 2500 and up to 5000 mm will require two Tap Blinds. Croci SpA will be in charge of checking the feasibility of the system.
The TAP BLIND 2011 shutter is composed of anodized or powder coated profiles in extruded aluminum with a maximum height of 55 mm and a maximum width of 16 mm which are linked together by steel rods. The rods are equipped with plastic rollers which ensure easier gliding and quietness of the shutter in the guide rails. On every aluminum profile a PVC gasket is inserted to make profile closing quiet and hermetic. Shutter thermal resistance = 0.01W/( ) rif. “Report n.282478” by the Giordano Institute.
Aluminum guide rails are made of powder coated extruded aluminum and equipped with brushes. They are composed of two parts: the actual guide rail and the carter. Thanks to the dismountable carter both the installation and maintenance are made much easier. The guide rails are also equipped with compensation adjusters, which allow the user to regulate parallelism and perpendicularity parameters within a millimeter.

In order to improve their breaking strength, Tap Blind shutter-grilles are equipped with innovative security systems, such as an anti-lifting locking system with steel chains that pull the shutter down and such as the reinforced key lock latches that prevent the shutter from lifting. Finally the anti-wrest brackets prevent the shutter from slipping out of the guide rails.
