TRADITIONAL
All along used for rolling shutters’ operation, the shutter glides along lateral guide rails introduced into the wall or in-opening, or set on projection frame.
The rolled shutter is contained into an aluminium shutter box (or into one of different material) set on the wall opening. All operation accessories- supports, roll tube, cap, ball bearing etc... are contained inside the shutter box

"UNIBOX" EXTERNAL SHUTTER BOX
System composed of aluminium shutter box complete with accessories for strap, crank, or motor operation.
The structure is complete with guide rails and is fixed outside the building, without masonry work. Exterior rolling (inversion) is also possible.
Strap, crank, motor (also available with manual override) operations.
Dimensions from 137 to 300 mm., rounded or 45°.

ROLLING SHUTTER
Made of aluminium or extruded profiles, in steel, with normal or high-density foam insulation
Assembled with side plugs that help shutter sliding better and reduce noise during the operation complete of junction straps every 50cm. approx.
The rolling shutter’s bottom profile is in extruded aluminium, in the same color of the rolling shutter (for colors not available in this application, see Croci colors range and matching information). Conic stoppers for strap and crank operations are affixed on this profile.
PROFILES’ FIXING SYSTEMS
Produced in polyethylene and different dimensions so as to match with the different profiles (excluded profile SAR/120). Lateral fixing with side plugs, metal staples or with auto threading screws.
Anti-storm inserts are also available for profiles SAR/112, SAR/132, ES/55.
As well as with PVC side plugs, profiles can be fixed by using nails (only for profiles SAR/117, SAR/112, SAR/132), allowing the shutter to get deeply into the guide, limiting light filtration.
SECURITY ACCESSORIES
Croci proposes a vast range of security accessories to be mounted in security profiles;
latches of aluminium/steel and reinforced steel to be mounted in the end slats, intermediate latches
to be mounted in conjunction with any intermediate profile, key-locks to be open from the inside and the outside, automatic security system fixed inside the shutter box with motor operation.
LATERAL GUIDE RAILS
In extruded aluminium, of different dimensions, according to the profile and to the
opening width; all guide rails are manufactured with a special seat for the introduction of PVC gasket
or brush gasket, so as to permit for an easier gliding of the rolling shutter and ad in noise reduction.
The guide rails are complete with fixing holes and holes for latches insertion; their particular shape avoids gaskets from slipping out.
In the traditional system, guide rails can be shaped in order to create a chamfer for the rolling shutter, it is anyway advisable to use special plastic screws. In the “UNIBOX” shutter box system only the version with plastic screws is avilable.
END SLATS
In extruded aluminium for dimensions from 7mm to 14mm standard, exterior rolling and universal
profiles with a special seat for the introduction of security latches and key locks, complete with
an anti-noise PVC gasket.
ROLL TUBES
Octagonal, galvanized roll tubes of different diameters (Ø40-60-70) and thickness
(0,6-0,8-1mm) are equipped with punches and holes to hook accessories for rolling shutter’s junction.
SUPPORTS FOR TRADITIONAL SYSTEM
Produced in galvanized steel, in different forms and dimensions to be attached to the wall. Lateral or ceiling installation are also possible.
