According to an information source of the Italian Research Institute, 50% of all break-ins happen through the windows. Most are, in fact, committed by occasional thieves not prepared to face obstacles and accidents.
Aluminium and steel rolling shutters have functions of dissuasion and put up an optimal resistance against force attempts.
Moreover, Croci offers a large range of accessories, which can be installed in different points of the rolling shutter, to avoid lifting and/or unhinging from the guide rails, which increases the security against theft.

ALUMINIUM OR STEEL SECURITY LATCH
Composed of a specially formed aluminium or steel bar, with a PVC anti-slide handle and affixed to the end slat, TE7X56 and TE14X56 (except universal type), without any further workings; this due to the particular form of the end slat. The locking systems are manually operated and protrude into the wall and lateral guide rails, thereby preventing the bottom from lifting up the rolling shutter. Also available in versions for intermediate profiles (suggested for profiles TE12X55 and ES/37) |

REINFORCED STEEL SECURITY LATCH
Composed of a steel bar and a locking handle, affixed to the end slat 14X56 (standard - inversion - universal) specially designed. . Manually operated and protrudes into the wall and lateral guide rails, thereby preventing the bottom from lifting of a rolling shutter. |

KEY LOCK
The thumb-lock operated from the inside, and the key-lock operated from both the inside and the outside, can be affixed to the TE14X56 (except for the “universal” type). Composed of two aluminum bars, this latch enters firstly into the guide rails and secondly into the wall, preventing any undesired shutter rising. |

On profile slat, affixed (with a special mechanism) at required rolling shutter height, can be used for 53mm and 55 mm profiles (SAR/112, SAR/132, AR/33, SAR/133, AR/12 and AR/32). The INTERMEDIATE STEEL LOCKING SYSTEM is manually operated and protrudes into the wall and lateral guide rails, thereby preventing the bottom from lifting up the rolling shutter. |
